Mob Dream

When I had this dream in 2016 I didn’t know what God was revealing and that it would connect to five other dreams representing civil unrest in America. It doesn’t mean I’m a prophet, but it does confirm what is in God’s word. All of God’s children can have prophetic dreams. Joel 2:28-32 and Acts 2:17-21

Scene one: I was with a group of friends in Europe, but then I was with my friend who lives in New York. Two people were working and I asked if the metro was close by and if there were direct and connecting trains. A girl said, “yes, it’s close by and you can get mass transit from almost anywhere.” “In fact, there are a lot of different directions to take.” It looked like my friend would take the train further. I asked her, “can you use this as a reason for a different place to live?”  She replied, “probably.”

INTERPRETATION:

Scene one: At the time of this dream I was living in Europe (Germany) and it confirmed where I was and foretold where I would be when this dream came to be.

My friend had no desire to move from NYC in 2016, however, unbeknownst to me, for the last several months the Lord has been stirring her heart to move on. She still desires to live in a big city where mass transit is available.

God’s timing always amazes me. This dream was four years ago; a dream about mobs that are literally running rampant in New York City and across other big cities in America. I pray the Lord will provide clarity for my friend and a way for her to move on. Isn’t God good to show her how four years ago he had already prepared a way for her to move on and before she had planned to do so?

Scene two: It was dark outside and I was being held captive on a roof. There was a mob of people on the ground shooting up at a man who was also on the roof. I realized they were trying to kill him. We both kept dodging bullets and I needed to get off the roof so I jumped. I landed in front of a tall row of trees or overgrown grass. It was like trees you would find in a rain forest. There was only one row, like a fence, and on the other side of the “fence” was a beach. It was similar to Miami, Florida. There were no men on the other side of the fence.

The man on the roof jumped and landed on my left. I noticed it was nighttime where he stood, daytime where I stood.

The mob was going to let the other guy go. I was confused because I thought he was the man they were after. I said, “why are you coming after me,” and they explained they’d rather have me than him.

INTERPRETATION:

Scene Two:  I was confused because the mob was set out to kill me and let the criminal go. Just like this dream depicts, hundreds of individuals were running through the streets of New York wreaking fear and violence with no repercussions of justice. Stores were being looted, guns were going off, buildings were being burned. Innocent men, women, and children were injured, even killed, and rarely were the guilty arrested. I have heard in the last month, “mob rules.” When I had this dream four years ago, nobody could have imagined this is what the streets of New York would look like.

Many of my dreams have had a pattern with the number 19 in them. What they’ve come to reveal is COVID-19. During these events, God unexpectedly redirected us and we settled in Florida. We planned on being nomad retirees for the next year and a half and then the pandemic swept the globe and put a halt to what we thought were great plans. Only God could have orchestrated us settling in Florida and connecting several dreams from four and five years ago. (See 2019 GPS Dream Part One and Two and Cruise Dream Part One, Two, and Three)

Scene three: I was told Rick had taken a loan from a man. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” I said.  They implied it was wrong and that I was just as guilty. I said, “no, we’ve done nothing wrong.”

“You’re just as guilty,” the men said.

I said, “We don’t have any connection to the mob and Rick has been deceived by them.” “Rick would not have known that,” I said.

I then commented, “if you’re letting that man live why aren’t you letting us live?” He replied, “there is always somebody above us.” “We’re not the top man in the mob, but the highest person in the mob was telling us to get you. Now that we have you, we don’t need him.”

End of dream.

INTERPRETATION:

Scene three: Innocent people attacked and blamed.

Who is the “highest person” spearheading the hate and evil growing in the streets? “There’s always somebody above,” those doing what you see on the surface.

I don’t want to dismiss this section as “nothing,” especially when the previous scenes in the dream have unfolded. This “conversation” is so specific that I feel God is revealing keys ways how we can pray for America.

One way to pray for our nation from this is: “Lord, whoever is at the “top;” whoever is “above” the destruction taking place in our streets, bring them out of the darkness and into the light. Lord, uproot the evil that is pervading our country’s unrest. Reveal their plots and schemes. Let your truth and justice prevail. In Jesus name. Amen.” Psalm 64

Nothing is hidden from God. Psalm 139 says “I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—but even in darkness, I cannot hide from you. To you, the night shines as bright as day.  Darkness and light are the same to you. Psalm 139:11-12

God reveals certain things to his children and gives us the privilege to partner with him. “For only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means. Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others. For, “Who can know the Lord’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ.” I Corinthians 2:14-16

Pray against the malicious plots from the enemy and that their wickedness will be brought into the open and their lies and evil scheming will suddenly be struck down. I pray that men and women causing hate, violence, and death will cease from doing the devil’s work.

I don’t know how I will suffer for Christ in the future. I don’t know what tomorrow holds, but as the hymn says, “I know who holds the future.”

“O God, listen to my complaint.

Protect my life from my enemies’ threats.

Hide me from the plots of this evil mob,

    from this gang of wrongdoers.

They sharpen their tongues like swords

and aim their bitter words like arrows.

They shoot from ambush at the innocent,

    attacking suddenly and fearlessly.

They encourage each other to do evil

and plan how to set their traps in secret.

“Who will ever notice?” they ask.

As they plot their crimes, they say,

“We have devised the perfect plan!”

Yes, the human heart and mind are cunning.

But God himself will shoot them with his arrows,

    suddenly striking them down.

Their own tongues will ruin them,

and all who see them will shake their heads in scorn.

Then everyone will be afraid;

they will proclaim the mighty acts of God

and realize all the amazing things he does.

The godly will rejoice in the Lord

    and find shelter in him.

And those who do what is right

    will praise him.”
